Accessible physical self-service
Self-service should be usable without assistance.
We want to make it easier for blind and partially sighted people to take a queue ticket, check in and place an order independently. We are currently exploring solutions and partnerships that could make physical self-service more accessible in Norway.
A touchscreen does not work for everyone.
When important choices are only shown on a screen, it can be difficult to proceed without help. Our aim is self-service that enables more people to complete their task independently.
From queue tickets to ordering
-
Taking a queue ticket
Finding the right option and getting a place in the queue.
-
Checking in
Registering your arrival and understanding what happens next.
-
Placing an order
Choosing what you need and proceeding with your order.
Good solutions need a route into use.
We are exploring existing technology and opportunities for distribution, resale and collaboration in Norway. Both improvements to existing self-service systems and new accessible solutions are possible approaches.
We welcome conversations with suppliers of accessibility technology and self-service systems, and with organisations that can contribute to integration and practical implementation.

An initiative in development
Universell Selvbetjening is an initiative by Aftermoat. We are researching the market and working out how we can best contribute. Suppliers, partners and a specific offering have not yet been selected.
Let's talk about accessible self-service.
